Sniper007says...That's pretty wicked sick object recognition. I suppose your object needs to be in their database, but even then, I'd love to see that algorithm. I did some work with OCR and it's no joke.

Drachen_Jagersays...I find it sad that the largest economy in the world can't figure out how to put bill identifiers for blind people on their money. Every other advanced economy in the world (that I'm aware of) manages this.
Fausticlesays...Actually I think it uses Amazon's Mechanical Turk. That means they pay real people on the other end to identify the photo.

chingalerasays...If I were a blind guy (no jokes, please), I'd want the voice app that when you used it it said stuff like, "It's a doorknob what, are you BLIND!??"
