Anyone else remember this awesome show?

The show was battlebots. Hardcore geeks would build remote controlled killing machines for the sole purpose of beating the tar out of each other. And for whatever reason (despite bill nine and the mythbusters being on the show (nyne as a interviewer and analyst on the robot designs while jamie was a competitor), it was canceled.

Ohhh nice clip. Tagging needs work though.

I remember watching this show on late-night television. Could never figure out when it was actually playing.

tuesdays at ten. I can remember that, and still never remember to take the trash out.

In the UK we had Robot Wars, was a great show and was a shame to see it vanish from our screens after roughly 6 or 7 years. Hasten to add that the UK version of Robot Wars was a different production than the US version of the show by the same name. Rights to the show's format and name were purchased from the original rights holders of the American version.

Might have to see if I can find some old episodes of BattleBots, would be nice to see some of the Mythbusters team in an alternative setting

Oh man, program from my childhood...I used to design robots in the margins of my school books. Still remember the names of some of my favorites...Razer, Hypnodisk... I'm such a nerd.
