"Today I present to you an hour of classic FM synthesis music from IBM PC games. Recorded using OPL3LPT from Serdashop, which uses an authentic Yamaha YMF262 (aka OPL3) chip which was the same chip used in Creative's Sound Blaster Pro 2, Sound Blaster 16, and AWE cards, as well as AdLib Gold. OPL3 was also compatible with OPL2, which was used in AdLib Music Synthesizer Card, as well as Creative's early Sound Blaster models. Anyway, if you're into DOS gaming, you'll recognize its signature sound. Real CRT monitor in the dark was used to add to the mood. Enjoy.

C-notesays...Long ago I had a collection of music that played from the on board PC speaker. Harpsichord Concertos. Thanks for the memories.
antsays...Haha, PC speaker. I remember that. I remember people got it to work with MOD, S3M, XM, IT, etc. It was amazing!

antsays...I still watch them on Friday nights from http://pouet.net's top picks. They're not good as the 90s though like Future Crew's Second Reality.
