While it's interesting that there's a TV spinoff revolving around SHIELD, one thing that TV execs have been known to do is make series that drag on. Stuff like this needs to be story driven... and there needs to be a conclusive end when the season or series is up.

Definitely something to watch for. But not something to keep watching if it goes beyond 2 seasons or 26 episodes.

@criticalthud We just saw Agent Coulson stabbed and pass out, which they passed off as a death to make the Avengers gather as a team and avenge his death. They never showed the medical team confirm he was dead. It is more about what you don't see than what you do see.

There's a lot of good versus evil in the Marvel universe, but this is more of the grey zone stuff. Good versus evil would be more along the lines of, I dunno... a temporal rift opens up, Annihilus flies into Earth airspace, and then murders Agent Coulson again.
