I'm hoping she takes her music in a different direction by her next album, because this song is cracking and her voice is inimitable, could lend itself better to something other than the usual ballady stuff she writes. Anyhow, blow yourself away and watch this shithot performance

There was a listening party on my college campus when the album dropped.
I wondered what the big deal was, I'd never heard of her before.
I like heavy metal...but I'm going to get this album.

I generally am not a fan of official videos, but in this case I prefer it to the live performances I've seen so far. The meaning behind the visuals is largely opaque to me, but it absolutely nails the tone of the song.
