What I do know though, is that I read The World is Flat, and I loved it. What makes you call him a "Mustachioed douchebag" and where can I find him supporting the war in Iraq?

It's sad when science is corrupted by politics. And it seems to be happening more and more...I guess that's because science needs money to pursue new ideas/research, and so the scientists are stuck playing to the party line or getting screwed out of funds.

Still, impartial science seems to be dying a slow and ignoble death, certainly in the States.
