How is he creepy? Because he's direct and honest about what he wants? Did he coerce her, or give her a cheesy line, or grope her, or get her drunk?

I did this all the time in my teens and twenties. It was that simple, and It worked nearly every time. I am not wealthy, tall or an Adonis.

It's easier at that age. All anyone cares about in high school is that you're attractive and friendly. By 25, everyone is suspicious and paranoid and has unrealistic expectations.

Yeah but these two are in college.

Then maybe this will be the encounter that leads them to suspicion and paranoia.

No need to feel bummed; my last comment was made in jest.

But I do think that from mid-to-late twenties until mid-to-late thirties we tend to put up a lot of unnecessary barriers, mostly in response to negative relationship experiences. While it does save us some hurt, I think we eventually realize it makes happiness difficult as well.

The trick is to lower the barriers appropriately without settling for less than we want.
