Aardman turn to the Darkside for Pink Floyd - Teaser

BBC Radio 2 commissioned Aardman to create a three minute film, which launched today, to accompany an original new radio play written by Sir Tom Stoppard celebrating the 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s album, The Dark Side Of The Moon.

Watch a special animated trail for a new drama based on the themes of Pink Floyd's classic Dark Side of the Moon album.

Legendary playwright Sir Tom Stoppard has penned this drama, which features Bill Nighy, Rufus Sewell and Adrian Scarborough, with the lead roles played by Olivier Award-winning Iwan Rheon (Misfits) and stage actress Amaka Okafor (The Garbage King).

The visuals have been created by Aardman Animations of Wallace and Gromit fame.
