A Word to Rioting Muslims

Muslim are the most dangerous. They subject their women as property. Dogs get more respect. They are fighting and killing in more countries around the world. All to force their religion onto free people. Convert, Extort and murder is their way of life.

Obama likes this Muslim upheaval. It helps upset the world balance of American influence around the world. Only 3 1/2 years ago the American presence was well established in the region. In another 4 years this Muslim muck will solidify across the region.

Obama is against America as a super power and will destroy the country via destructive policies, foreign and domestic. He snubs Israel and backs the Palestine. He has done nothing about Iran or the "new " Egypt who both publicly stated that it is their desire to wipe Israel off the map. Argentina over England on the Falkland islands issue.

Why is this getting upvoted?

To condemn the entire religion is extremely juvenile; the majority of the people in this religion are not the extremists who are rioting in the streets.

Instead of condemning entire religions, it'd be much more accurate to condemn religious fundamentalism or extremism. The majority of muslim people condemn these violent actions.

You've been registered since 2007, so surely you must know that there exists a segment of Sifters who are hardened Islamophobes (though they hate being called that). You'll find lots of Condel's videos (and other anti-Islam videos as well) have been Sifted. I used to comment on them about the absurdity of condemning a religion (which, like Christianity, has numerous different sects and faction and is practiced by people with widely differing cultural and educational backgrounds, not to mention political motivations) based on the actions of some of its members but I mostly got shouted down as a "cultural apologist/relativist."

I will say that the frequency with which these types of videos get submitted and Sifted has decreased over the years, which seems to indicate that other Sifters got as sick of the rhetoric as I was.

I only wish this were true, but so many homos have allowed themselves to be conditioned to tolerate and even respect, uncritically, inferior cultures.

I care that they're offended. I can sense their confused, mooing outrage like a bad smell. It's psychic baggage I'm tired of carrying. There are too many muslims in the world and the stink is becoming unbearable.

As a proudly hardened islamophobe, let me tell you apologists something. The correct word for islamic 'fundamentalist' or 'extremist' is muslim. These are the ones who actually believe in the doctrine of their absurd cult. I bet you don't even know what that doctrine is; go do some research instead of just smugly congratulating yourselves for holding the sanctioned position. The so-called majority, which is not so much a majority as you like to tell yourselves, of peaceful muslims aren't muslims at all; they're liars and cowards who pay lip service to their cultural standards without really believing in them or having the strength to form contrary ideas of their own - they're just like you.

"Islamophobe" is a word the reality-challenged use so they can more easily compartmentalize and parse a confusing world. I am no more islamophobe than I am a cilantrophobe, Romneyphobe, or panflutophobe.

I've been registered since 2006, but that has nothing to do with recognizing there are some hardened ignoramuses here (although I'm sure you don't like to be called that). There will be Islamic "extremists" and "fundamentalists" (or, as @gorillaman correctly stated, Muslims) as long as the Koran exists, because they are simply following what it tells them to do. Moderate or peaceful Muslims are not (at least, on the whole). They ignore much of the cornerstone of their religion, choosing to cherry-pick from it those tenets that suit them and the kind of life they wish to lead, just as all the various Christian "sects and factions" selectively follow the Bible.

Now, I'm all for muslims who choose to live peaceful, tolerant, and inclusive lives. If you're going to believe in magic and ancient fairy tales, I'd much rather your delusions lead you to First World, socially acceptable life choices. But portraying them as true Muslims is just ignorant, and denies what Islam is. Islamic "fundamentalists" are far, far from a fringe group.

Amazing how something we so strongly agree on can lead us to conclusions we so strongly disagree on.

The majority badly need to speak up them, because I don't hear that message coming through at all. I mean, I do believe that most muslims are moderate and their religion has been hijacked and repurposed by hateful extremists but yah, where is this majority. Why is it that whenever islam is in the news its doing something fucking stupid.

Oh, and moderate or not you'd gotta admit their holy book is fertile soil for this hate and intolerance. Moderates may condemn these acts, but when they are inspired by words printed in this book that both sides, moderate or otherwise, place upon a pedestal...Are they not in some sense enabling this fanatiscm simply by being muslim?

ps. The video is titled to be directed at rioting muslims.

Just for the record, I wasn't implying you specifically were an Islamophobe. Certainly there are lots of Sifters who have submitted anti-<insert pretty much any religion name here> vids to the Sift because they know they'll get a little traction and probably get Sifted. Congrats on getting Sifted, by the way.

Also for the record, Islamophobe is a word used to describe an irrational fear of Muslims that usually leads to discrimination in some form, whether that be people calling for the prevention of the building of a proposed mosque or spying on the entire population of Muslims without cause across multiple states and trying to pass it off as "anti-terrorism tactics" (i.e. the NYPD).

So the view that Islamophobia is "reality-challenged" seems itself to be "reality-challenged" as the above real-world examples indicate.

P.S. Calling someone who disagrees with you an ignoramus says tons more about you and your argumentation skills than it does about your opponent.
