Gun cam footage is one of the view things I seem to have no problem accepting voyeurism about.

FAQ: Please do not post pornography or "snuff" films (which we define as the explicit depiction of loss of human life displayed for entertainment).

Note: The presence of human fatality is acceptable and not considered "snuff" if presented as a limited portion of a lengthy educational, informative news report or documentary. Our definition of "snuff" does include but is not exclusive to any short clip in which a human fatality occurs whether or not any victims are actually visible on camera.

Well, it's not technically a "lengthy educational, informative news report or documentary", but I still think this should get a pass for essentially conforming to the spirit of that rule (ie. this clearly isn't meant to titillate or excite anyone).

This is a 54 second clip, the entire content of which revolves exclusively around the taking of human life, and seems to fit squarely in the snuff rule quoted above. Though it may not be for entertainment, the clip provides no other context.

I don't think this is "clearly snuff (by guidelines and precedent)". By guidelines it is ambiguous, it could go either way. But by precedent it seems pretty clear. This video was allowed to stay. So was this one. Those two didn't even have anything redeeming about them, they were simply death for the sake of death. At least this one is showing what's happening in Iraq, a war that -- as much as a lot of us would like to wish it wasn't -- is happening right now.

In the case of the latter clip I linked to, I actually argued against it and was shot down, and that had no value whatsoever, and was no more or less explicit in its depiction of death than this clip.
