What I'm focused on is that the journalist at 4:30 quoted something that several Senators stated that is word for word from the PNAC. I didn't make the video.. I didn't control those people that stated what they thought they saw.

You're making an implication that this was some sort of conspiracy by -our- government, and basing your entire argument on the use of the four words, "a second Pearl Harbor"? Gee, I wonder how often those words might come up in describing an unannounced attack on the US. Pure idiocy...call me if you find something actually interesting.

The US govt would -never- do anything that would harm it's people or their rights? Learn a bit of history my friends..

-open air nuke testing near civilian settlements on US soil.
-LSD experimentation on unaware US soldiers
-syphilis/sterilization experiments on unaware african americans.
-unwarranted imprisonment of US -citizens- of Japanese ancestry.
-paranoid witch hunts of McCarthyism.
-govt endorsed segragation and women's suffrage.
-the fact that the US was -not- settled/based upon 'freedom', but initially built on the backs of slaves.

The list goes on and on.

To question the government is the right of EVERY US citizen. On small issues, to large issues. Put the facts forward and openly and clearly review them. This has -yet- to be done thoroughly and independently. Is the US govt complicit in 9/11? Probably not, but there are serious questions which need to be answered. There are holes in the story and inconsistency abounds. While not surprising is such a large scale event, the facts are/were there, but were conveniently shuffled away and trashed/recycled quite quickly.

I suspect not because of a conspiracy, but rather political cover to hide the government's incompetence. By BOTH parties.

I have never once said the Government or George Bush was responsible for 9/11. I have only said that there is something fishy going on. And that I don't believe everything they tell me.

I really doubt that the conspiracy theory which claims this was an act caused by the US government used to invade Iraq or whatever motive claimed. Some have said that the US is a country that has invaded and bombed countries with far less extremes means such as bombing them based on their 'principles'. That said, the only thing I find interesting, and probably what people allude to a conspiracy to is that I haven't seen any clear evidence of a plane crash on the Pentagon/Pittsburgh. Then again, I'm not an expert in plane collisions. So who I am to say how/what happened?

Prove me wrong and I'll believe in unicorns, ghosts, bigfoot, the world was created in 7 days... oh wait, you guys believe that too. nevermind.

I don't particularly understand the lashing out at 9/11 truthers. I don't think at this time they have evidence to back up their claims, but unlike the UFO believers, there's nothing particularly outlandish that they're suggesting.

They lied about WMD and links to Al Qaeda to get us into Iraq, why not lie about the specifics of 9/11 itself?

Given the way the Bushies lapped up the aftermath, it wouldn't surprise me if 9/11 turned out to be done with American help -- possibly even with the President or Vice President's knowledge, or on their order, or on their boss's order (call 'em whatever secret society name ya like).

Nothing in any of that seems impossible to me, and now, 7 years past that event, I find myself much more inclined to believe those outlandish claims than I did 9/12/01.

That said, nothing in this video seems particularly damning to me. The "second Pearl Harbor" comment being said by "some Senators" is no surprise, the entire Republican party gets talking points fed to them on every topic, and PNAC had people embedded in the press (William Kristol), and the White House (Donald Rumsfeld) that were eager to frame the attack in that way: a surprise attack that leads to a long, globally scoped military conflict.

I'm sure it was planes. However I'm not sure if there is no conspiracy. I think it's possible that the government suppressed or ignored intelligence. Maybe even demolished WTC 7.
