What a great thing to have at that age. Unless his parents are dicks about it. Either way, for the rest of his life, no matter what else he does, he'll always be able to say, "well, I can play the drums".

I always find myself trying to figure out if the kid is genuinely enjoying it, or if they're chained to an instrument 18 hours a day and fed as a reward.

All I can say is that this made me *happy, and that this little guy certainly seemed to be enjoying himself too. Even when he briefly messed up he quickly recovered with a smile on his face. Nice find, kurtdh.
