Old Newscast about a New Phenom Called "Internet"

Interbutt also proffers a modulated anarchy that, in addition to football, accommodates conservative politics. The big problem is the phrase "That's great" reads as the phrase "That's great". Emoticons are good for smiling in interbutt.

Top Ten Most Unsportsmanlike Plays

Ah OK I was interested enough to look it up. Izzy Alcantara kicked the catcher in '01, Artest fight was in '04, and this video made somewhere in between. Although I don't know if that would quite qualify anyway, as the ignominy of the incident could not have been achieved without fan participation.

SHOCKER: Rude Fox News Interview w/ Naomi Wolfe

qbert says...

Scary that there are people commenting who don't see a reporter flailing at a guest, rather than civilly asking questions. That even right-wingers would come out in defense of the interviewer's behavior, that's what's really harrowing here.

re: "one could say we are in the middle of a nine-year cooling trend"

Washington Post, January 2007: "Last year was the warmest in the continental United States in the past 112 years -- capping a nine-year warming streak "unprecedented in the historical record" that was driven in part by the burning of fossil fuels, the government reported yesterday."

A Video for America part 1 of 2

God I'm sick of that music. So overplayed it has an almost comic effect, at this point.

It pains me that this mediocre silliness gets more attention than Arundhati Roy's "We", here on Videosift.

Why is the Mona Lisa the most famous painting of all time?

This movie, of Roy's words, is truly an epic find. How terribly terribly beautiful. I keep checking back on the vid's upvote count, expecting to find 1000+ on it. Maybe that's all we have, eh?

Thanks for making it available,

Peace,

In reply to this comment by Farhad2000:
Suzanna Arundhati Roy is an Indian novelist, writer and activist. She won the Booker Prize in 1997 for her first novel, The God of Small Things, and, in 2002, the Lannan Cultural Freedom Prize. But this video is not about her, it's about her Words.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arundhati_Roy from http://www.weroy.org

We is a fast-paced 64 minute documentary that covers the world politics of power, war, corporations, deception and exploitation.

It visualizes the words of Arundhati Roy, specifically her famous Come September speech, where she spoke on such things as the war on terror, corporate globalization, justice and the growing civil unrest.

It's witty, moving, alarming and quite a lesson in modern history.

We is almost in the style of a continuous music video. The music used sets the pace and serves as wonderful background for the words of Ms. Roy and images of humanity in the world we live all in today.

We is a completely free documentary, created and released anonymously on the internet.

There are many ways to download and view it. If you'd like a TV quality copy, a DVD-R disc (also containing extras) can be obtained for a small donation.

See the About This Project page for more information about the documentary, the filmmaker and this web site.
