FOX Still Doesn't Understand Separation of Church and State

possom says...

Most citizens do not understand "separation of church and state". This clip is actually an accurate representation of what the 1st Amendment is NOT. It does NOT mean that the government can not mention, condone, or participate in religious events. It means that the federal government may not enforce, through law, the establishment of a religion, or limit, through law, the freedom to practice your chosen religion (or practice no religion).

I saw a very true discussion in this clip, which explained why those who raised this protest are clearly constitutionally wrong.

Schlub, even without your own explanation of what you understand it to mean, I believe you are the one who does not understand based on your title of the clip.

Amazing, Super Fun TF2 Music Video - Don't Stab Me Now

i understand the concern about free to play, BUT Valve added a TON of their own servers that the "quick play" feature directs people to. Your free players will mostly populate those servers. If you have some favorite servers you frequent, they should still be ok.

I hope this video inspires new people to play. This is one of the most comprehensive display of tf2 fun ive ever seen in a video.

Cyclists bike as slow as possible in a sprint race

possom says...

There is no drafting effect in play when moving this slowly and at some points STOPPED.

The issue with being in front is that not only do you have to ride, steer, forward, you also have to be aware and even look back at the opponent to prevent them from passing you, detracting you from just pedaling as hard as possible and going forward (what the race should be)

It is interesting, but I don't see how it warrants a "Race" or sport. IF they wanted a sprint competition, they should just have a straight track equal to 1 lap of this oval, and let them "drag race" it out. While the strategy and stress of being in front or back is interesting, it plays out as very silly and unsportsmanlike. "I am going to try to get behind so I can win".

I did enjoy the video and did upvote;)

No, I don't particularly care for car lap racing. I do enjoy drag racing.

They usually spend the first 299 laps making an effort to pass the car in front of them.

>> ^KnivesOut:

You must hate car racing. They have like 300 laps, but only the last one matters there too.
Right?>> ^possom:
How about 1 lap instead of 2 silly ones and one real one? I agree, weird.

Lawsuit After Guy Tasered 6 Times For Crooked License Plate

possom says...

Seems the officer was trained very well. He continues to repeat the same commands for 4 minutes. That is true discipline. Only when backup has arrived does he alter his strategy.

Still, He should have explained that he was perceiving a threat at the moment, and until he felt that threat has been controlled, he may have to escalate the force of the situation, but he probably was doing exactly what he was supposed to do.

Had the guy not had his hand in his pocket in the beginning this likely never would have escalated. Being just a civilian, I'd be very close to drawing on someone behaving this way to me.

Man tells story of Dept of Education raiding his home.

UPDATE: http://www.news10.net/news/article/141207/2/DOE-raids-Stockton-home-as-part-of-fraud-investigation

Neighbors are backing his story. "Excessive Force" now mentioned and an attorney acquired. It does seem excessive when the line regarding "Criminal contraband" was stricken through on the warrant, suggesting they had no anticipation of drugs, weapons, etc. Then why the 13 armed men?

""They surrounded the house; it was like a task force or S.W.A.T team," across the street neighbor Becky said. "They all had guns. They dragged him out in his boxer shorts, threw him to the ground and handcuffed him."

According to Becky and her two children, the raid started at 6 a.m. with agents ramming down Wright's front door.

"I watched until I went to work at 10:45 and they were still out there," Becky said.

Her young daughter, Valerie, said she counted 13 agents and one Stockton police officer outside Wright's home.

"I felt really bad for those kids," said Becky about agents when they brought out Wright's three children. "They were crying really loud.""
