I'm sure schools run by local communities would work well in most cases. But then there would be another problems: comparability of degrees, curriculum (e.g. Creationism vs. Evolutionism etc.)

My first thought: This looks shitty for an expensive hand prosthesis. But it's meant to be simple and robust as well as easy to rebuild.
No sensors are build in, it works a lot simpler: By bending the wrist fingers flex.
