Charliem and jonny -- ouch, take it easy. I know what you're saying, though -- as a matter of preference and professional humility, I think "coding" is appropriate for web production, because that's what it is: you're encoding content for presentation by marking it up in HTML and CSS. I generally reserve the term "programming" for real software development, and I use "scripting" for javascript and PHP/mySQL stuff. I agree that serious web app development is another animal that should really be considered full blown software.

I liked this. I've been watching a lot of Harris and Hitchens lately, but the only clip of Dennett that I'd seen was in a debate with Dinesh D'Souza, where I didn't think he was all that coherent. This was much better, and he does bring an interesting angle to this, if only in having his own conversational style and set of analogies that he uses.

I waited too long to watch this. A very good exposition for someone (like me) who doesn't really know what is in play there. This type of story is also perfectly in reach of the MSM and should be more broadly distributed. This particular video is also very well produced, I might add.

OK, I'll bite. I normally think of him as kind of a guilty pleasure, but this was pretty impressive. This solo format cuts down on some of the theatrics of the album, and the guitar work is damn well done.
