Climategate: Dr. Tim Ball on the hacked CRU emails
I'd like to see this guy's emails.
If he's actually interested in science and transparency, and not just influencing public perceptions of climate science, he shouldn't have a problem handing them over.
==================================== ==================================================
Dr. Timothy Ball is Chairman and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Natural Resources Stewardship Project (NRSP).[1] Two of the three directors of the NRSP - Timothy Egan and Julio Lagos - are executives with the PR and lobbying company, the High Park Group (HPG).[2] Both HPG and Egan and Lagos work for energy industry clients and companies on energy policy.[3]
Ball is a Canadian climate change skeptic and was previously a "scientific advisor" to the oil industry-backed organization, Friends of Science.[4] Ball is a member of the Board of Research Advisors of the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, a Canadian free-market think tank which is predominantly funded by foundations and corporations.[5]

Tony Benn Bonus Interview from Sicko DVD
Oh yep, fair enough, I didn't quite get what you meant there.
But I don't see the point in having a private enterprise involved if the government ends up paying for the medical services anyway (plus a cut for the insurer).

@RedSky:
from wikipedia
"Universal health care is implemented in all of the wealthy, industrialized countries, with the one exception being the United States. It is also provided in many developing countries and is the trend worldwide."
You Know What's Bullshit? Printers.
I have that exact model, Deskjet F380, and what that tells me is that this guy is an idiot who doesn't know how to use his printer.
He has the printing options set to use the colour cartridge, so of course it will complain if it's out of ink. If you choose "black cartridge" for plain text it doesn't care about the colour inks.
And the page that prints out is to align the print heads automatically. It prints only when you have opened the flap to swap cartridges, you then put it in the scanner and press scan, so the printer can check its own output and adjust itself. This does seem to work quite well.
