I too yearn for the ``olden days'' of gaming, when a game was a stick and a length of yarn, and games didn't come with these newfangled ``graphics'' or ``rules'' and everything was 2D including your grandmother.

This is like my agnostic, insomniac, dyslexic friend who always lay awake late at night wondering if there really was a dog.

I do like that this does touch (although very briefly) on the fact that frequently (in fact, for almost all things) our conviction is based on "reasonable doubt" rather than "unequivocal proof" - as in, he did not try to skirt the importance of circumstantial evidence, which is significantly more enlightened than the usual "NO PROOF NO PROOF NO PROOF" behavior which, while possibly reasonable, does not really engender positive sentiment.

What I think is funny is: it seems pretty clear that the guy walking around with a visible, unloaded gun and a camera was looking to be harassed, abused, etc.

I kinda wish I were there. These people around them were not very inventive insulters.

So I'm not complaining, but am just observing...has anyone else noticed that we give much more of a crap about this than, say, a real train station? Why is that?
