That is indeed how they would look. I guess the issue is really: should they be allowed?
Soundcloud embeds are far from a video embed; they aren't even audio with a static image. I think (personally) it should be fine, but that's just me.

I haven't attempted to submit such an embed, so I have no idea whether it would be rejected as an invalid embed or not.

Good job figuring out how to correctly embed them, though I guess the time I got it to work was by accident!

Not sure I agree. The trooper is just doing his job, and he's doing it pretty respectfully, while taking his obligation to arrest the guy seriously at the same time.
