Crazy driver refuses to use the highway
It seems to me that maybe her (I believe they said it was a she) accelerator is jammed and she's too panicky to think to just turn off the car.
I dunno if that's the case, but I think there's definitely more than meets the eye here.

Poor doggy
Looks like the collar was a breakaway one, that's good. But I'm sure it still really hurt.

I'm curious; as far as music goes, I thought Amazon and iTunes were OK. What practical restrictions are there to use in those two? I haven't seen any and I use both services. In the beginning iTunes had restrictions, but not know as far as I see.
For me, it's a format issue. I tend to purchase from places where I can get lossless or mpe 320, at least.
Bandcamp is a great example of that; by far my favorite source of paid music; it helps, of course, that many bandcamp artists are "pay what you want" priced.
SciShow: Epigenetics
>> ^L0cky:
The idea that the changes you make to your body will be passed on is a very old one, but since Darwin it's been pretty much ridiculed. For it to come back is pretty big stuff.
I don't think that it's been really ridiculed, epigenetic phenomena are accepted in the scientific community as very real, testable changes to the DNA and DNA packaging structures (histone acetylation/deacetylation, histone methylation, DNA methylation, etc).
More free, lossless, legal electronica/experimental music. (Music Talk Post)

Time to buy some Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice WRTs™....
Seriously though. I got these tires a couple of months ago and (although we've had a really late winter), they work really well, and I'm very impressed, and I didn't even get them studded; excellent ice performance (I ain't a shill I swear).
Although with that kind of ice they clearly need to get off the damn roads, no kinds of tires, studs, chains are probably going to help much on a road this slick.
I agree that they could have probably done more, but it would have been unsafe to try and block the road off themselves; they should have called 911 and let them handle it (presumably 911 was called many times anyway by all the people crashing/being hit).

Is the domain spelled correctly? Because all I see is:
"The owners of the domain name are accepting offers from interested parties willing to obtain ownership rights over the domain name. You may learn more about how to place your offer by clicking HERE."
Whoops! Fixed, and thanks. New fangled websites and their fancy spelling...

@solecist well I meant that small protest against overly harsh punishments against similarly harmless smoke; sry, i often forget that you can't hear my sarcasm online.
I don't quite see how blowing smoke in an animals face and an animal willingly consuming something are equivalent...
FWIW, the punishment is overly harsh IMO too.
