I agree with RP but I think that if you're going to step aside and allow people to hurt themselves and others with drugs, prostitution, etc, then the government does need to take a good look at what it can do to keep people from turning in that direction in the first place. Poverty, lack of education, poor health, and well, fear, are all things that both Federal and State governments should take responsibility for. So that said, I'd like to hear some of his ideas for how he'd solve problems in those areas. If the answer is again "this is not government's responsibility", then I would ask "why do we have government at all?".
