I have several rattleback tops, but mine don't have turtles on top--they're molded plastic with the chiral properties built-in. They happily spin clockwise, but if you try to spin them counter-clockwise, they rattle and reverse themselves.

A couple of things. First of all, they're not going to show the clips where the people didn't freak out. Secondly, when they cut the video but keep the audio (which they do a couple of times), assume the people realized they were being idiots and stopped running.
