That video was about 90 seconds longer than it needed to be. Still cool though.

The only problem I have with this and the other video is that they don't mention witnesses. Well, they mention a witness saying they saw you in the area. Going by their suggestion though, that witness should have never told the cops that either as it implies they were in the area too. Not talking with the police ever and always choosing silence is maybe a good way to protect yourself, but if everyone followed that advice society would definitely hurt.

Yeah, that looked like he grabbed the wheel only for support. Seemed like at that point the roll was starting, and the steering wheel had become useless.

I wish they used a proper volume level for the mic, the audio clipping is making my ears bleed.

It was one of my happiest moments watching this video, learning that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was actually going to be made. For the longest time I considered it was never going to happen based on sales of the first game.

To anyone who hasn't played the first game, I highly recommend it. One of the few games I revisit every year or so.

I was very pleased to see them show a sampling of all the different reactions they got and give #'s of how many acted in each way. It actually covered the spectrum and gave you an idea of how all the reactions we didn't see went. The trend does seem to be for them to only focus on negative reactions and not give much in the way of numbers or better idea of the overall picture.

The problem Skeeve is that these tar sands aren't as easy to extract the oil from. The amount of total gained energy from extracting the oil is less and the whole process is more costly. Though to me this seems to suggest the price of oil will continue to steadily increase. I don't really agree with the thought that the supply of oil will drop rapidly, or that the price will sky rocket. I do think the price will go up fast enough to cause us to have to change our ways of life, but not as bad as depicted in this video.

Except, alt+f4 sends a signal to the app to close. It isn't killing the game task. For the game to quit when you press alt+f4 it needs to catch the signal and exit out on its own. In doing so, it can save your profile etc. Whether it actually does so, who knows. It is however unlikely it will quit in the middle of writing your profile though. I wouldn't worry about it corrupting anything.

Great moment in a good show. The subtitles on this particular version are horrid though, either the Anime Junkies fansub or some hong kong rip off DVD. I'd recommend the show to anyone interested, the DVD's have subtitles that actually make sense.

Took a while, but I re-found the one video I saw that did satisfy your conditions of both sides being fairly equal intelligence and scholarly knowledge. It's the uncut 'The Root of All Evil? - Uncut Interview', on youtube in 7 different parts and a little over an hour long.

I highly recommend watching it, but it is uncut and thus the audio volume varies, etc. However, because it is uncut it's better as there is no manipulation through editing to modify the view of either speaker.

I think the guy is an ass on the motorcycle, but I think the cop was even more of an ass. Both were driving dangerously, but the cop was driving far more dangerously. It's not surprising he's the one who caused an accident. Sure the guy on the motorcycle is partly to blame for breaking the law and running, but that doesn't mean the cop should drive so recklessly that he endangers people even more. The motorcycle could cause a bad accident where others are hurt, but compared to the big volvo wagon it's far more likely he'd cause far less damage.

The part at the end where he causes an accident you can almost see it coming, he comes flying into traffic purely hoping that his siren and lights will be enough to prevent an accident.

He really should have followed a little safer, just trying to keep visual contact long enough for a helicopter to start tracking the guy if they think he's a repeat offender. It's definitely worth some risk to stop the guy on the bike so he doesn't do it any more, but there's a point when it's safer overall to back off.

Errr, from what I can find Ben Roethlisberger's accident was in Pennsylvania where I'm fairly sure the police cars aren't labeled Polis.
