Where is this from and how accurate is it? .. At least the opening and ending animation of earth's orbit around the sun is quite drastically exaggerated. Or am I wrong in assuming that it's earths orbit that they are showing? Kind of misleading in any case.

The difference from "Aphelion" to "Perihelion" is so small that it's barely visible when drawn. Looks like a circle more then an elipse.
