I completely agree with Sylvester_Ink. This is actually the only prequel I revisit because of the duels and more pleasing sets.

Every duel that came after Ep1 became rushed, tightly shot sfx extravaganzas that began to rely less on the clever acrobatics of the fighters.

The birth nightmare still gives me the creeps even though it looks ridiculous looking back on the sfx.

Whilst these commercials are entertaining, it does give Apple a kind of catty & juvenile personality.

I didn't love this movie although I admired the ambition.

I didn't think the direction does us any favours. The whole last act is dizzying in it's telling, piling on too much too fast.

And for a movie that had the grit of film-school realism, I found major believability issues with the acting and actions of the protagonists. Why after making a momentous discovery such as time travel, would you decide to waste that power and cheat on the stock market and try to punch your boss? That didn't make an entertaining watch for me. The science and speculation on the other hand, did.

Epic.

The only metal band worth a damn nowadays. Maybe with the exception of Ephel Duath.

It's a slowburn but nothing prepares you for the levels it reaches by the end. If you aren't already scared of girls you should be.
