Happy Rhodes performing Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street"
Don't know if you'll see this skforty, I couldn't find a way to send you a personal message, but k8fan put up the video of Happy singing the bit from "Fame." I'm going to submit it, but here's the YouTube link anyway.

Experiment IV
The guy in the straight jacket screaming is Kate's brother Paddy. The guy in the chair who's confronted with the angel demon is Kate's former long-time partner Del Palmer. I love that little shhh Kate gives at the end.
Strangely enough, I like the television show appearance better. It doesn't have any of those great actors, but it does have Nigel Kennedy playing violin, and we see Kate throughout the whole song.
Ann Coulter Walks Out During Hannity & Colmes (2mins)
There is NO counterpart to Ann Coulter on the left. Someone who says totally outrageous things? Someone who lies all the time and gets publicity for it? Someone who GETS that much publicity for lying and saying outrageous things? No, there's no counterpart on the left. Al Franken and Michael Moore don't even come close. And besides, when those two say outrageous things, it's usually about something the Bushites did, and it's true.
'Les Triplettes de Belleville' Intro (2003) - Amazing animated film
Did you guys see this song performed at the Oscars? It was nominated for Best Song and the presentation of it was just brilliant! We have a high-def version, maybe I can get k8fan to digitize it. This is a wonderful movie!
Mary Coughlan - I Want To Be Seduced
I love Mary. She's from Dublin and has quite a few albums. We've met her several times and she's sweet and very funny and delightfully profane. She's a bud of the filmmaker Neil Jordan and has been in several of his films (in small roles).
Watch her eyes, her slight smile, and her body language in this. It's subtle, sexy and funny at the same time. The bass does its part too, even "laughing" at one point. This cover is from her album Tired and Emotional.
Lola the kitten who walks on her front paws
I just found a longer version with a few more details:

Also, this has probably already been through VideoSift, but I just found it on YouTube tonight and marveled. It's Faith the Wonder Dog.

Lola will be adopted. One of the staff members would take her home if she wasn't. You can tell they love her. There's no way Lola will be put to sleep, unless she develops medical problems down the line.
Sprout and the Bean - Joanna Newsom
She's wonderful.
The Original KTMA TV-23 "Mystery Science Theater 3000" intro 88-89
Whooo! Thanks for posting this. I've never seen this opening before. I love Joel. I miss Joel.
Dawn of the Dead Opening--When the Man Comes Around (Johnny Cash)
I like the original better, but this one is pretty good, and these are some of the best opening titles I've seen. The first 10ish minutes of the movie itself is brilliant right up to when you see the aerial shot of the cars... (no one should spoil what happens before that).
How NOT to Pull a Car Out of Snow
All those big strong guys there, that tiny car, why didn't they just PICK IT UP? It's not like it was an SUV or anything and there was bare pavement just a few feet away. Oy! Dumb!
Brazil - Unused movie music by Kate Bush
My all-time favorite artist coupled with my all-time favorite film. Of course we've had the soundtrack ever since it was first released, but I'm glad that someone finally married the song to images from the film. Great!
Happy Rhodes performing Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street"
I'm looking for the bit of Fame, but haven't found it yet. Neither of us can remember which concert. I've seen Happy 24 times (k8fan was with me 22 of those times) so that's a lot of concerts to sift though. I want to find it too. I completely forgot about it until he mentioned it.
If I find it, I'll let you know.
Happy Rhodes live singing Queen's "Lily of the Valley" and her own "Possessed"
What didn't you like about it Ant?
Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers: Stormy Weather.
That was GREAT! I love Cab Calloway, he's so surreal, but this is the first time I've seen more than a few seconds of the Nicholas Brothers in action.
Cavatina (deer hunter theme) performed by Xue-fei Yang
That was very very nice! Beautiful music and she's so talented. I liked the video best when it showed her hands close-up. I know nothing about how to play the guitar so that was fascinating to me. I liked the making-of too (though it wasn't the making of that particular video, I'd like to see the video is it talking about). She seems very nice and I always admire musicians who give props to their inflences.
Do you know how to pronounce her name?
