The original idea by Dutch designer Maarten Baas (http://maartenbaas.com/) was actually presented in Milan this year at the Salone del Mobile 2009.. He also made some other clocks, take a look at his YouTube channel, for some very very interesting designs!

Forget to thank you for the sift JesseoftheNorth If you have any more of that, that would be great. The things he was talking about in the interview are always the introduction about MC Escher in all books I have that are written about him, but I bet ths interview was longer originally..?

If anyone who is interested in his works want to read a great book about Escher, you should read 'Gödel, Escher, Bach" That book compares the works of those three guys in mathematics, drawing compositions and musical compositions and if you are able to finish it (which is hard, because it's so very complicated) you will know a lot more about the world we live in..
