According to quantum physics you could travel back in time but it would take incredible amounts of energy, and by doing so you would be still going forward in time but just putting the past in front of you, so the people you'd meet in the past wouldn't be the same person in your past. So in effect if you traveled back in time, you'd no longer exist in our universe as we know it.

What? He was making a point of mentioning how dire the situation is in Iraq whereas Afghanistan isn't so dire which is where Obama wants troops. In doing so he mentions the assumingly Afghanistan (for which he said Iraq) and Pakistan border, therefore supporting Obama's argument, which can't be so. Can it?

Demonstrations?... you cant have those without getting hosed down especially if the protest is very large. Recently is has been documented that police infiltrate protests and incite violence so they can move in.
Furthermore none of your reasons don't mean it's not a police state.
