Should all bans be permanent?
I just noticed that ergenberger has been instabanned, which I believe makes the umteenth billionth time I've seen a Choggie reincarnation come and go.
Now, without defending his actions, which I couldn't either way since I'm not even certain as to why he was banned initially, I think it's important to use the opportunity to set a precedent.
Should all bannings be treated as permabans?
I'm not trying to start a thread to argue over whether or not Choggie deserves to come back, so please don't make it about him specifically. I'll be perfectly fine with any decision.

Oh, and my vote is nay, they shouldn't. I think ethics are more important than what we necessarily want.
who cares? stop enabling people and you would be surprised how much changes
I don't see it as enabling if they come back and mind their manners.
Hm, well, *discard.
