Can the Google search API be tapped to search for videos, suggest related videos, and show similar videos? These three features have unfortunately suffered with the continual expansion of the Sift.

I've run into quite a few people who have been banned, and I would like to know how and why they were banned. Can't we have siftbot make a post on a banned user's profile or something?

And whatever happened to being able to search by channel?

Yes, that would be great, even better when you can search in multiple channels at once, e.g. all dark+rocknroll (=metal) videos..

This is not a small suggestion, but it would be nice to have a direct link (ala reddit) to response comments and vid comments. Collapsible threaded discussion trees would be nice too. I'd also like a pony if that's not too much to ask.

Would it be possible to get a little notification telling us that we just received a comment on our profile? You know so it won't take an hour for us to respond even if we are online. I know we get an Email but I am talking about something on the page itself. I have seen that on forums, a little pop up notification telling you that you just got a PM.

Just thinking if that is possible.
