Well - you are right - if you have nothing to do with any video; you can post it.
Be careful with some dicarded videos, they can also be discarded due to questionable or unsiftworthy content (inappropriate, or cruel videos for example)

So if its a funny for example and discarded I think you can repost ok


I have not done much reposting of existed discard videos - often they are promoted back out but if the member is banned then you should be ok to repost

Search really carfully using advanced search, because some videos have been resubmitted, even by the original poster, with a different title. Otherwise, discarded videos are fair game.

Go forth and sift other's discarded videos with impunity.

Uh.. if you uhm, stalk my unsifted videos list whenever I post anything, you can totally take any banned members discarded videos! >.>

Basically, you can't post a video you made/were in, and you can't post a video if you uploaded it to another site. No videos with people dying for entertainment ( news and shizz is okay, I'd think ), no porn, no full episodes of TV shows, no promotion of racism, and make sure to check whether or not a video is sifted.

It sounds complicated, but it'll be secondary instinct soon enough. Gluck!

scotty, if someone has discarded a video it's usually because it's a dupe. If not, go right ahead and try to sift it.

Selflink is only when YOU have something to do with the making of the video (in the shot, camera man and so on). I think you're allowed to be the uploader on the external host, but that's a gray area.

I'm not cold. All I said was "They're guaranteed to be voted on immediately!" And, believe me, they will be voted on immediately. I never said those votes would be upvotes.
