Yes, the idea of the choice is the framework for a challenge. To have the choice of playlists feature seeems appropriate, with less clutter onthe sidebar, with all-comers.

How about simply using the number of times a playlist is visited as the determining factor?

It would have to ignore previously featured playlists, as they have a much larger number of views from it. Also would be tough for those with lots of playlists too: as a fault with moving the order of 'em, wiped all the view counts until it was recently corrected. Would be better to use the playlist with the most views in that week alone (excluding featured ones)...

I think a nomination process would probably be best, as a Playlist with a high number of views may not be appropriate for the Front (such as my Drugs one, would avoid NSFW filter if kids are on here...although, I dunno if they are?) Or maybe each Sifter gets a vote per week to cast in the Playlists tab for their favourite one? (obviously, not their own)
