Feature Request: "Long" videos as a channel?
I think it would be nice to keep Long videos separate than the others - they're harder to sift, and exist among 20second and 2 minute videos.
I'm sure like others here, I like to sit down and choose a 10min+ video to really get into. Maybe to fall asleep to, to watch while washing the dishes or with the morning coffee.
Instead I'm clicking away and switching and buffering videos here and there or going through my playlists of saved Long videos not quite finding something recent...

I totally agree and I have asked for this many times.
AH - I see -
I suppose then this request is a dupe?

I agree. Long videos should probably get their own channel, and a longer time period to get the 10 votes.
Agree!
Can't you already see that they are Long before you click on them? If you don't want to watch it just move on by. However, I tend to post longer videos and it is frustrating that they don't sift as easily just because they are long.
^ You can tell if something is Comedy before you click on them as well. And if you don't want to watch it, just move on by. But what if you wanted to watch a collection of Comedy videos? Then you can go to http://comedy.videosift.com
Now replace "Comedy" with "Long".
This isn't about avoiding Long videos. But collecting them together.
Agree, this is a great idea.
Anyone mind if I *sticky to continue the discussion?
Invocations (sticky) cannot be called by doogle because doogle is not privileged - sorry.
*sticky *promote *wtf come on already
Post is already assigned to engineering talk - ignoring all requests by Farhad2000.
I find meatbag Farhad2000 to be an inadequate command-giver - ignoring all requests by Farhad2000.
