Discard(ed) pool

Often what I (and others?) consider quality is discarded, so I would be in favour of a collective discard(ed) pool (+tab, next to the dead pool) containing all discarded sifts with the most recently discarded sifts on top, instead of having to look through the individual discarded posts of sifters. What do you think?
edit: one can use advanced search for this.

If you go to advanced search you can search for all discarded videos from a collective. I suppose putting it in it's own tab would make it a little more convenient. Personally, I'm not bothered either way, I don't mind using the advanced search.

ps: now I come to actually try and do it I cant get it to work because the search terms is required. But I'm sure I've done it before. has something changed?

yes i had this problem yesterday, i wanted to browse all long politics videos, but advanced search required a keyword to search for. am i also being a noob?

as for discards... i think there is a big problem that (activate donald rumsfeld voice) there are siftbot discarded discards, selfdiscarded discards, dupe discards, discards that should be saved, and unsavable discards that are dead but not dead.

what i mean is, not all discarded videos are bad or dead. i see some people compensate for this by making a "please save" playlist, but i think it should be formalised a bit more...?

@MINK
there are indeed quite a few types of discards. The dupe discards are the least intersting: when votes are transferred to the original first post these discards could be completely discarded (cf. shift+del on windows PCs to instantly delete the file AND remove it from the trashcan). Siftbot/self discarded posts could be discards that should be saved..
The "please save" playlists are indeed currently scattered around the site.

This makes me want to ask as well, is there a way that every submitter can be given permission to fix their own dead discarded posts? On the off chance that someone wants to surf your discarded posts for whatever odd reason, it would be nice to be able to fix the dead ones on your own, even if you're sub-star. I don't intend to be so for long, but it was an odd sort of obstacle to encounter.

In addition, is there a way to permanently terminate a post so that it can one day be reposted by someone else on some future date?
