Adding a comment without leaving main screen
I find that it would be a lot more efficient for me if the comment box was available at the bottom when I expanded the comment list from the main screens so I can add comments to videos.
In other words, I am too lazy to click on the video link to go just to add a comment... and it interrupts my viewing of the video if I'm still watching it while wanting to comment on something.
Is there any way that the comment adding function to a video/sift talk/blog/etc can AJAX-ified?

I think Lucky covered this earlier and it can't really be done, because of how forms work, or something. I'm not sure of the exact reason.
Where there's a will, there's a way.
It's pathetic I had to clink into this story just to give you the *quality you deserve.
Awarding Stingray with one star point for this contribution to Sift Talk - declared quality by CaptainPlanet420.
My solution to this requires Firefox and a three-button mouse or a mouse with a clickable scroll wheel. Move your cursor to the link and click down on the wheel to open it in a new tab. This also works on the "back button" and on bookmarks. When I discovered this I did a little dance.

Can you fix my mouse? The scroll clicker is broken and I feel helpless.
Sure, just send it to

In the mean time, just hold ctrl while you click, or right click and "open in new tab". Then dance a little.

Good old assignable mouse keys.
I actually do the same thing now, except I usually browse the sift on my laptop with the touchpad, so I right click on the add a comment link and choose open in new tab. I just woke up for the morning and starting my sifting duties for the day and I already have four tabs open to the sift.
I've been waiting for this idea to be implemented a long time ago, but I can understand if its a simple no can do just because of the physical ramifications. But it would be sick.
YES!
