Formula Ford EcoBoost - on Road and Nürburburgring

And they'd say "at least he died doing what he loved", prompting some wiseguy to quip: "LOL he loved going backwards on fire?"

Just means you'll get to go through the pearly gates backwards, and on fire. Come on ya big wimp die with dignity!

Winner of the Cooking Channel Cuntess, TBA..NOW! (Food Talk Post)

Wiseguy, eh? They had the custom prison-cell-suite kitchen, too!

I promised pumkinandstorm I'd make a video entitled, "Garlic Presses Are For Pussies."

I cut my garlic with a razor blade, so it's so thin that it liquifies in the sugo. I learned that from Pauly in the slammer.

Breaking Bad || BLACK

I love that Johnathan Banks (Airplane, Buckaroo Banzai, Otherworld, Wiseguy) as Mike the cleaner, keeps coming back to show us something new. The Salamanca Brothers from season 3 were truly frightening and the ending of episode 7 of that season was the most intense five minutes of television I've ever seen in all my years. Breaking Bad is an epic show; among the very best television can be.

Awesome!!! Armadillo Aerospace's 2009 Lunar Lander Entry

xXPuSHXx says...

Totally! From what I heard Grumman was pretty proud of their original design and had convinced NASA to bust the Apollo lander out of the Air & Space Museum and use it for the next trip to the moon, but then some wiseguy said "AYFKM?!" and so they hired one of the most talented game developers on the planet to design a new one. I don't get it, personally, but I hope Carmack is able to leapfrog this achievement directly into the Oval Office.

Barney Frank Confronts Woman Comparing Obama To Hitler

robdot says...

its about time someone started calling these people out for what they are. this is exactly the right way to handle them.... quantum mushroom couldnt make a comment without slandering mr franks sexual orientation.
from urban dictionary ....Finook
Derived from "finocchio" or fennel, a derogatory term for homsexual or gay, i.e., people that wiseguys feel nervous around. Can also be spelled Fanook. this is how republicans "discuss", instead of issues ,lets call names and scream hitler !!!
Also mr frank does not get "free health care". its part of his benefit package. like my health care is. its not free, i work for it. i also pay 70 dollars a month in medicare taxes, probably to pay for this psycho ladys healthcare. the next question one should always ask is where do you get healthcare? ill bet one million shes on some government program. being on medicare or medicaid and protesting healthcare reform is like driving cross country to protest roads. these people arent against government healthcare, they are against anyone ELSE getting government healthcare. we need a system where everyone pays and everyone benefits. even republicans should be able to understand that simple concept.

Is embedding infringement? MPAA sues two sites (Wtf Talk Post)

kulpims says...

there's always some wiseguy trying to milk a dead cow, i guess. but it can't be just stupidity. i mean, they've had so much to learn from the previous failure of the music moguls to adapt to new ways of media distribution. they can't afford to make another mistake like that. maybe they're just trying to scare off some of the small fish first. who knows what those greedy perverts think...

Yeah, good call on Wiseguys. I think the only thing they left out was Henry Hills circumcision.

In reply to this comment by my15minutes:
hmm... "best book to movie adaptation"

as in, overall quality of the source text and/or adapted film?
degree to which they were faithful to the source material?
that's often just as difficult. like crunching Hamlet down to an hour and a half.

Get Shorty was an excellent adaptation. elmore leonard has a snappy paperback style that plays well onscreen. especially when it's that well-cast, shot, and edited (as was again true for Out of Sight and Jackie Brown).

i'd read 'Wiseguy' long before Goodfellas was made, and found it a remarkably good adaptation even for scorcese. it's all in there. right down to how karen hill used to hold her thumb and forefinger apart to indicate how thick a stack of hundreds she wanted to go shopping with.

Okay, wiseguys, you have my attention.

What do you mean exactly, twiddles? What "embed link" can you click on without triggering a view? I'm searching my mind and unable to come up with the situation you've described. Hmm... Headscratcher...
