Deadpool & Wolverine | Trailer

newtboy says...

MOTHER FUCKER! More multiverse bullshit? That stupidity is worse than time travel. Absolutely nothing that happens matters because some multiverse version where it didn’t happen will just come erase it. Why bother with a story at all? Such lazy writing, they should be ashamed that it’s all they can come up with now….suicidally ashamed.
Still going to watch it.

Colorado Supreme Court Declares Trump Ineligible For Office

newtboy says...

You must prevent treasonous dictatorships to preserve democracy. -section 3 amendment 14 United States Constitution

You are becoming obese from eating all those nothing 🍔 🍔 🍔 🍔

Don’t forget, Trump said Ted Cruz should be disqualified from the ballot in 2016. Clinton too. He has no qualms about banning people from the ballot so long as they aren’t named Trump.
Also don’t forget this case was brought by Republicans, not Democrats @bobknight33

PS- still going to disgraced child rapist and Epstein friend and defender Dershowitz!? 🤦‍♂️ he says the 14th amendment doesn’t cover the president (arguments during its writing over the wording prove otherwise conclusively) and now that it only covered one insurrection (the civil war) and that any subsequent insurrections must get a new amendment to be illegal. Both arguments are utter nonsense, have zero basis in law, and are contradicted by the minutes of the sessions in congress when the amendment was written where there spelled out clearly why the wording includes the president and any insurrection. Jesus Christ bob, you just love grasping at rotten straws don’t you?

Nicely the Colorado court included that in their decision, so the originalist justices have a choice, follow what the writers said clearly was the intent and wording of the law, or toss out the constitution and protect Trump again, ending any semblance of legitimacy for this court.

Side note- Texas Republicans, led by the Lt Governor, are already threatening to remove Biden from the Texas ballot for spite. Clearly the right has no problem with removing candidates for no reason at all…only with removing their cult leader for a legitimate constitutional cause.

Chicago’s Defund The Police Leads to Supermarkets Closing

newtboy says...

As usual, Bobby gets it 100% backwards and grammatically incorrect.

Republican policies always require a Democratic solution.

Supermarkets aren’t closing due to high crime, they largely never existed in these neighborhoods. More idiotic lies by the moronic pathological liar.
Whole foods? In a low income neighborhood? Who could have predicted that would fail? Only anyone with an IQ over 17…so not bob or the people who tell him what to think.

Edit: The hilarious irony with your position, bob, is that “defund the police” (admittedly a terrible name) had the goal of deTASKING police away from mental health calls (and other minor civil issues) that police tend to escalate into serious problems, charges and/or injuries or death requiring massive responses and burning resources when a mental health professional could usually de escalate the situation and get the patient proper medical care without incarceration or worse. It would allow police to focus on crimes like shoplifting, crimes you claim closed these never-existed supermarkets in low income area food deserts.
Side note, so you know, police funding hasn’t actually been cut. It’s still going up in almost every department in every state.

Who last balanced the budget, Bobby? Does your cult addled brain remember…or do you insanely think the answer is Trump? Likely the latter, despite him adding more to the debt and deficit than any two term president, and don’t ignore that he injured the state of the union more than any issue or person in history….and is a rapist.

What BS. Trump years made policies that created JOBS JOBS JOBS.

Please grow up.

Look around. Growth is still going well even with Biden in office. Its starting to dip a little but will be ok until Democrat policies mess it up

D’oh! Numbers are out….from Trump’s first to last month in office, GDP raised 1.6% per year, the worst since Hover in the Great Depression. So much for being an economic genius, he’s literally the worst on the economy in living history.

How many more ways will he be determined to have been literally the worst? Already judged the worst by lack of leadership, abundance of division, worst economically, worst at public health, worst at trade deals, worst on the environment, worst at telling the truth, worst at civility, worst/most criminal convictions of any administration, …..what’s left?

How You Can Stop Trump From Stealing the Election

The Looters

Warehouses: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)

00Scud00 says...

Ever since I read that article in Mother Jones about working conditions in Amazon warehouses I feel kinda bad ordering stuff.
Although I do tend to order things that I can't find locally or is much cheaper online. But fucking Oreos? seriously? I still go to the store for things all the time, really it won't kill you (usually).

A Hard Question For Religion

shinyblurry says...

You can believe in God and still go to hell. You have to be saved. Often people are double minded about God and believe in Him one day and deny Him the next, so this isn't surprising. It's not an interesting theological question because the test isn't whether you believe in God, it is whether you are born again.

The Harms of Marijuana

MilkmanDan says...

I wondered if your use of the past tense should be taken to mean that they are no longer in business, so I googled. It appears that they are still going.

Interesting stuff in the Wikipedia article. It notes that the Surgeon General warnings about tobacco still apply, and in fact they have to include a disclaimer that says "no additives in our tobacco does NOT mean a safer cigarette".

So now I guess I'm back to being surprised and a bit suspicious about the lack of evidence for smoked marijuana causing cancer, as opposed to tobacco being very clearly linked to cancer...

That's what American Spirit brand was all about....additive free cigarettes.

New Rule: Conspiracy Weary | Real Time with Bill Maher

newtboy says...

Jesus, Bob, you can't be that dumb....you....just...can't. You repeat debunked conspiracy theories on a video about mentally challenged republican conspiracy theorists?! Why not go on to complain about the illegal alien voters and the fish people infiltrating the intelligence communities too?

Spy-a person who secretly collects and reports information on the activities, movements, and plans of an enemy or competitor.
Informant-a person who shares information.

The details gathered from informants were given to Republicans last week, and they left the meeting supporting the Muller investigation, a turn around from before the meeting, but all those republicans must now be liberal Trump haters just lying, right? *facepalm

Plenty of Trump/Russia related information is already public, just not undeniable proof of pure DJT collusion.....yet. (There is enough to prove he is either involved or a brain dead slug of a leader, as only a brain dead slug could possibly not notice every person on the campaign talking and doing business with Russia) Hide and wait.
The Clinton/Whitewater investigation lasted 5+ years and found nothing improper in the deal, you can start whining again in 4 years that it's taking too long to prove his crimes, but absolutely not before.
No one (except the Russians) spied on Trump, but we absolutely should have considering the international ties every person in his campaign had with our enemies that they consistently lied about/hid.
Stop lying, and stop repeating orange Kanye's obvious lies. Asking his people questions is, in no way whatsoever, spying or embedding spies....just didn't happen.
The Fed's DID spy on Clinton, and found no crimes. Odd you aren't outraged by that clear spying on a candidate.....oh wait, you are outraged that they didn't go farther with her.

Conservatives are getting fed up because they can't admit they elected a consummate con man who has destroyed our international standings, our ability to negotiate, the budget, the debt, and civility, and having it shoved in your face makes you mad. You're fed up because he does at least one unpresidential thing daily and it's reported/tweeted.

After >8 years of insane (Kenyan Muslim), ridiculous (pizza gate), non stop (still going on) Obama bashing, you must be incredibly embarrassed that your team can't take 1/4 of what they dish out. Sad little snowflakes.

Beware going to the polls unless you want to be turned gay....and heads up, mail in ballots are impregnated with a virus that turns you into a Muslim.

bobknight33 said:

Spy/informant-- same cheese different box.
FBI has one in the trump org and nothing found.
So shy 17 million spent by Muller on nothing Trump/Russian related/

And one wonders why conservatives are fed up with fake news/ late night Trump bashing 24/7/365 with lies.

Trying to explain bitcoin

Mordhaus says...

Funny, but a tangible item is much easier to market.

It's only been in recent human history that we have decided to accept currency sources that are technically not backed by a physical equivalent and. Even then, until bitcoin and other recent crypto-currencies started appearing, we required the force of a large body behind it like a government.

At least with items like gold and silver, people knew that it was an unknown new item that had limitless potential. Imagine a person coming up to you ages ago and saying, "I've filled an empty mine with rocks, but every 1000th rock is blue. I am the only one that can allow access to the mine, so I can manage the rarity of the blue rocks. What I want you, and the other people to do, is treat these blue rocks as valid trade items." I can almost guarantee that you, or anyone for that matter, would say that you would do that only if that person speaking to you guaranteed to make the blue rocks redeemable for valid currency from him at your discretion.

That is one of the problems many have with crypto-currency, the guarantee factor of being able to convert to a more recognized form of monetary unit. It's changing now, but it is still going to be a rough road since the only true guarantee at the moment is that multiple places are starting to recognize it as currency. It could be amazing, but it also has massive potential to financially cripple a lot of people if they trade goods/services for it and it flops.

Flat Earther To Launch Himself In Homemade Rocket

HenningKO says...

Man... not me!
Go for homemade rocketry! And if this guy is a fireball or a smear on the desert in a week... still go. Risk-taking and a spirit of adventure IS something that used to make America great.
Don't get me wrong... his motive is silly. But I admire the will.

ChaosEngine said:

Eh, proving things for yourself can only be taken so far, and I feel that when your experiment includes the words “homemade manned rocket”, you have crossed the line.

Trump Attacks the Mayor of San Juan: A Closer Look

Chaucer says...

Typical liberal trying to twist and combine facts. You are coming off like a pretty big moron. You cant compare Haiti and PR as its a apple/orange situation. Do you know the situation of the infrastructure between the 2? Do you know how the government of each nation reacted? I bet there's a lot of difference between the two.

Also, you dont know how much damage is going to be caused by a hurricane. Why would they ramp up all the services and waste tens of millions of dollars when just a street sign gets blown over? (besides you liberals would then complain about wasting government money for nothing) They knew Katrina and Andrews were coming too but the US government has to wait to see if they are needed.

Also, federal agencies like FEMA have to be requested by the local governments to be there. This is where you guys are such hypocrites. If the military moved into a location and started to take over, you'd be all up in arms about it. Well, FEMA is a federal entity too. They just cant GO into a location if they arent being requested.

As far as the San Juan mayor, here's an article from Oct 1st:
http://www.dailywire.com/news/21758/san-juan-mayor-admits-she-hasnt-met-federal-joseph-curl#exit-modal

I bet even with this smoking gun in this incompetent Mayor, who is a Democrat, that you are still going to blame Trump. You people are so sad.

newtboy said:

I don't need to properly debunk that to know it's some neocon bullshit.

I've read reports (and google/wiki confirms) that we had twice the boots on the ground in Haiti in <2 days after their earthquake than we do today in Puerto Rico after 12 days, and Haitians aren't Americans. Please explain how it's so much harder to get aid to Puerto Rico with warning the disaster was coming days ahead of time. I'm not at all sure about your claims about the mayor of San Juan, but even if what you say were true, blaming the mayor, as if FEMA is unaware of the urgent need without her properly filed and formatted request made in person at their headquarters, for the complete failure of FEMA to distribute supplies to citizens on the whole island is ridiculous , imo. For days that headquarters was unreachable....everywhere was, many places still are today. She's certainly made multiple requests both private and public since the storm, as have other mayors that could...many still can't. I guess they're SOL for disaster relief until they get it together, right? *facepalm

Arnold Schwarzenegger Has A Blunt Message For Nazis

JustSaying says...

BASF is a huge german corporation that produced Zyklon B, the gas used in Ausschwitz to kill thousands of people. They're still going strong. It is by far not the only german corporation that benefitted greatly from the Holocaust. Take IBM for example, they delivered card-computing systems to manage concentration camp popula... Oh shit! IBM is american, my bad.
The Bundeswehr, the german military, was run by Nazi Generals in its early years. Just this year there were several scandals concerning Neo Nazis among their ranks.
A lot of people benefited from the atrocities of the third Reich. Don't kidd yourself. Remember, Hitler hired Ferdinand Porsche to develop the Volkswagen. The development of the VW Beetle was started by the Fuehrer.

newtboy said:

...
BTW....because you seem confused, no one ever was forced under penalty of death to keep slaves, and very few Nazi's families benefited after the fact from having been Nazis....it's not the same thing by far.
