Thanks for the link and info there. The video didn't present any of the more damning stuff from that -- just said that the company was under criminal investigation. Without that kind of evidence from former employees etc., I was worried about that being a witch hunt... But it certainly looks like there's easily enough basis to start an investigation.
Good to know -- thanks again!
Check out the Jalopnik article I linked above - http://jalopnik.com/the-complete-story-of-takata-airbags-and-the-biggest-re-1780143347 - and then you can call for their heads. The story quotes ex Takata engineer Mark Lillie as saying
World Drone Prix-Dubai
Awesome.
That finish when the two drones were pushing it to the limit -- I assume that the one that bottomed out on the sharp pull-up would be DQed (maybe literally disabled as well), but what about the other one (with the camera)? It missed / went above the gate, so I assume that it wouldn't be instantly DQed but would have to waste time coming back around and getting through?
Cool stuff.

Have some power points and don't give up on the Drone Racing videos just yet -- I think they just need some more time to attract a few more first-time views.
Drone Racing League | Level 1: Miami Lights
I'm late to the party, but that was quite fun to watch. Reminds me in some ways of watching the interviews with Battlebots builders and then the actual matches.
I bet these will pick up some steam here on the sift once more people check it out.
**edit**
Oh, and the neon didn't bother me. I bet the pilots need some high-contrast visual cues to help them navigate; might not need to be neon, but something. If enough people object to the neon in particular, I'm sure they will experiment with alternatives.
One last try, I can't believe almost no one likes this.

Thanks for the suggestion -- I will check that out!
You might be interested in the movie, The Fog of War. I think that's the title. It's about the morality of making these types of decisions.

I sense a comment of the day/week/month coming... Gotta be worth an extra power point!
FAKE!
No one called the police complaining about a black guy attacking people with a sword...
