You know the new MAGA slogan, right?

“Day One Dictator!”

I think you do considering how many times you used the phrase “day one” in your post (now erased) where you didn’t understand the concept of a prima facie case.

Yes, this is what they chant at MAGA rallies now. This is the phrase that gets the crowd excited, cheering and waiving their arms in jubilation at the idea of making America a dictatorship where the Trumps are the undisputed dictators for eternity.
And you see nothing wrong with that….because laws, civility, freedoms, you don’t care one bit about any of these unless they’re helping you be a nasty little shit stirrer, then you think they’re a great cudgel (look it up).

Trumps new favorite quote is “they’re poisoning the blood of our country”, a racist fascist quote direct from his hero and absolute favorite writer, Adolf Hitler.

Still waiting to know if you understand the concept of summary judgement based on a prima facie case yet. It’s a simple concept, but has so far eluded your comprehension. Did dumbing it down for you help?

Woohoo! The courts just ruled that Mark Meadows, and by extension all Trump officials including Trump, cannot move their state cases to federal court using the supremacy clause because 1) he is not a current federal employee and 2) his actions were not within the scope of his office but were campaign activities (and another Hatch act violation) so not covered by the law anyway. Another total loss in court, this one far reaching for all Trumpist defendants hoping to escape the charges.

Sadly, the felony eluding charge born out by the video and charged by the officer has already been dropped without explanation.
More preferential treatment for a criminaly abusive roid raging cop.

Failed Assassination Of Pelosi/Husband Attacked In Home

bobknight33 says...

This bizarre story was immediately explained in the liberal media as being MAGA attack:

But to recap:
So let's get this straight, a man in his underwear manages to elude security cameras, Scale a wall & elude security guards and dogs, breaks into a home without setting an alarm off but is somehow captured with a hammer because of a wellness check at 2am. Also were both in their underwear, and a 3rd “unknown person” answered the door.
Fishy Pelosi Story Right?

DePape is not a right wing MAGA guy, he's a crazy doper who is all over the place on politics.
Paul knew his name & called him a friend in 911 call
Was NOT a political attack.

But by leftest standards... If 2 guys in their undwear get into a hammer fight at 2 am its Trumps fault.

What web links are you looking at? The fake ones created on Friday and now are gone?

Fake news….your evidence?
Posted at your request, dumbshit. Do you think you just pulled a fast one or something? Did you really just ask me to post a video just so you could parrot “fake news”? Yes … yes you did.

My evidence….His Facebook, twitter, and truth social accounts, likely others. His voice heard by 911 operators, police, emts, etc. Also the weapon and zip ties he brought to the home invasion. Did you not listen to the video? Was it not OAN so no fact could penetrate your anal shield to your ears?

Funny, it’s the police saying all these things. Not reporters, police spokesmen. Are you saying they make up stories about innocent people so regularly that they would do it in this public of a case? Evidence? Of course not. Just more baseless denial of reality.

Glass breaks in and out when you break it. It also breaks out during struggles inside, or when you rip a glass door open violently. Are you seriously suggesting this is staged, some false flag attack, and Pelosi’s husband is so committed to this lie he smashed his own skull in?
It’s clear from photos and videos that the vast majority of broken glass, and the wood/vinyl cross member are inside the house.

Um….now onto baseless silly gay slurs and accusations because you have no information, no way to contradict the FACT that he’s a MAGgot moron that believes every conspiracy theory you do and worships the same ochre ogre.

I never knew you were into eating men’s asses, but if you say so, you must be.
I never knew that’s what MEGA meant, no wonder you sissies changed it but wouldn’t explain!
Be careful, lots of diseases you can get from eating shit, but it’s clear that’s what you’re into, you’ve been doing it here for over a decade, you probably know all the pitfalls well by now. Then again, your mantra is

Edit: thinking about it, this is your last question until you can answer just one. You never can, you just ignore them every time.
Since I know you’re incapable of answering questions, that means you’re done asking me any. Until then, the answer to any question you pose is “Ashley Babbitt”….it should be “what charges came down for Clinton”, another claim you refused to back up. I haven’t forgotten many questions you dodged.

The Big Misconception About Electricity

Its not so much a theory. We make so many simplifying assumptions about our surroundings that the underlying physics tend to elude us.

How to Apply Your Mask

BSR says...

I got the feeling after watching some of her other videos that she targets a group of kids that have had a tough and abusive life. Her words or lyrics or style harmonize with victims and gets their attention but may also elude the "fortunate". She also shows hope that they can overcome just as she has.

Music, no matter the genre will reach those that are looking for answers to cope with whatever the damage may be and the answer will always be, "you are not alone in being alone."

All alone, or in two's
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands
The bleeding hearts and the artists
Make their stand
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy

The Spirit of Radio

Begin the day
With a friendly voice
A companion, unobtrusive
Plays that song that's so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood
Off on your way
Hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
For the spirit ever lingers
Undemanding contact
In your happy solitude
Invisible airwaves
Crackle with life
Bright antennae bristle
With the energy
Emotional feedback
On a timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price
Almost free
All this machinery
Making modern music
Can still be open-hearted
Not so coldly charted
It's really just a question
Of your honesty, yeah, your honesty
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity, yeah
Invisible airwaves
Crackle with life
Bright antennae bristle
With the energy
Emotional feedback
On a timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price
Almost free
For the words of the profits
Were written on the studio wall
Concert hall
And echoes with the sound of salesmen
Of salesmen, of salesmen - Rush

Trump Demands To Know The 'Oranges' Of Mueller Investigation

1974 - Suntory Whisky, 'Sammy Davis J

noims says...

For what it's worth, as an Irish whiskey drinker (in both senses of the phrase) I can tell you that the nicest whiskeys I've tasted from outside Ireland and Scotland are Japanese, including a Santori whose name eludes me.

In case you're interested, next comes Indian (a lovely tipple called Amrut Fusion), followed by a few nice American samples... I'm not a big fan of bourbon, hence the placing.

As for the spelling thing, yes, usually Whisky is Scotch and Whiskey is Irish, but that's not 100% true, and if that's your worst spelling mistake after a few then you're doing well.

So, what's the story with Japanese whiskey? I usually like my whiskey to come from Scotland, but Sammy makes me want to try the Japanese version.

Knife Types & Techniques with Alton Brown

MilkmanDan says...

I own about 15 kitchen knives, none of which cost more than roughly $10 individually -- and most under $5 or so. I don't have very well developed knife skills, so I am fairly hard on knives (as eluded to in the video). But, replacing a $5-$10 knife when I mistreat it won't break the bank.

I'm sure my slow, clumsy cutting would make any professional chef weep or facepalm, but I am not an overpriced restaurant worried about the judgements of strangers. And even my meager skills are plenty adequate enough to reduce any food item that I purchase into smaller, bite-sized pieces of food item. Plus I've never lopped off a finger or cut myself bad enough to require stitches or medical attention or anything.

So, I'm happy enough with my cheapo knives and subpar (but adequate) skills in using them. The video does provide good general advice though!

One of the Best Press Conferences Ever - Marshawn Lynch

eric3579 says...

At this point i don't think anyone is losing here. As unintentional as it may have been, Marshawn brand is bigger then ever due to the fiasco. As Januari was eluding to, the NFL also benefits enormously in publicity they normally would not get, and due to the public interest in Marshawn the media is seeing more eyes on their coverage of what's happening. When's the last time you have seen so many sifts regarding American Football? The larger the interest the more money everyone makes it seems to me.

Bowling Ball and Feather dropped in largest vacuum chamber

MilkmanDan says...

Yeah, those last couple sentences throw me for a loop also. I *think* he is referencing relativity, in that the objects are behaving relativistically towards each other, but if you remove/ignore the earth (and air) then you are missing one half of what they are "relative" to. Or that the Earth and the air are also (minutely) attracted towards the bowling ball and feather, or something.

Would definitely be nice to see the next few minutes of this show to see what he's eluding to...

Street Harassment Of Women In New York - An Art Project

Shepppard says...

You've boiled the issue down far too much to make an effective point. The video is titled "Stop telling women to smile". Neither of the two women interviewed had anything to say about them being harassed by being told to smile (at least, not that they spoke of on-camera).

Sage's point was that telling someone to smile isn't necessarily harassment, and he's right. I tell people at work all the time "hey, come on man, smile" as a means of trying to cheer them up.

There's a difference between that some random street walker hitting on you, making the title just seem... ineffective. Something more along the lines of "Stop Street Harassment" or "We're not a piece of meat", something that actually explains the problem better than the title the artist chose to go with.

At the end of the day, to me at least, this video is trying to make a larger point about smiling = looking good, women need to look good (or are objectified by men so they need to look good) therefore, women must smile to look pretty for men all the time and STOP telling us to do so!

If it's not that, then the real reason it's called "Stop telling women to smile" eludes me.

I'm not saying that it's not a problem. ANY form of harassment is a problem, weather it be racial, gender, sexual orientation, etc. based. But rallying behind someone being told to smile? That's just meh.

And before you ask, no, i'm not saying that there isn't a problem with harassment. And I'm not saying it's a minor one. I'm saying that "Hey babe, nice tits!" is more something to be offended by. I'm not a woman and get told to smile all the damn time.

bareboards2 said:

Maybe if you just respected that these women have a problem, they are not you, and they don't know you in particular say it to both men and women.

I find it perplexing that video after video after video is posted on this site, explaining women's experience, and man after man after man post a comment arguing about it.

Please stop making this about you, my friend, and just BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY. Video after video after video .... there is something that is trying to be communicated.

Having said all this -- I have never been street harassed to the extent that these women have been. I have had folks say to me -- smile! and it hasn't been an issue. I took it the way you mean when you say it. But I don't live where they do. And I believe them when they tell their experiences, even though their experiences don't match mine.

Cops using unexpected level of force to arrest girl

Trancecoach says...

Competing private security or insurance would be far cheaper and much more efficient and effective than the state-imposed police force that we have now. Chief among the many reasons that it would be an improvement is the fact that it wouldn't be a monopoly (which are invariably rife with corruption and abuse). Of course, this doesn't include the millions of others who are willing and able to defend themselves on top of that.

Do you think police services are "free?" Even if you happen to be a nonproductive tax consumer, you still pay for it in other ways (especially if you're a minority or unlucky enough to be born into the wrong "class").

Here is a link to lengthy PDF essay on how a stateless society would deal with law enforcement, courts, prisons and such. Because a fundamental truth about life is that it cannot be fully predicted (a truth, I might add, that seems to elude the central planners and government bureaucrats much to our horror and detriment), we cannot know 100% as to how law enforcement would work in the absence of the current state-imposed police force. But imagination and logic help guide us into trusting a free society.

The author uses his own knowledge, logic, and imagination to posit, for example, that prisons would actually need to compete to attract prisoners, as clients. The author sees that as both making prisons more secure and preventing prisoner abuse -- a far cry from the prisoners-as-chattal, state-contracted, crony-"semi-private" prisons that we have today.

An interesting read.
