My idea of the 'Deceptive Collective' comes from me noticing the abundance of comment threads about whether or not a vid is fake. Clearly, sifters like talking about the fakeness or reallness of a video for what ever reason. So the guidelines for the 'Deceptive Collective' will be: 1. Vids that seem fake but are actually real 2. Vids that seem real but are actually fake 3 Vids that are obviously fake but were created in a (albeit poor) attempt to deceive the viewer (e.g. an awful magic trick). I was talking to another sifter about this idea and they said it was "Stodgy - excessively conventional and unimaginative and hence dull". I'd love to hear some feedback from you guys - any ideas / reactions / opinions? Thanks.
