Actually, it isn't that bad. It means you are the FIRST person to submit it to Videosift! And what I love about VS is that there are no multiples, like in YouTube etc. You submit your video, and it stays here, for forever (please ChipIn and donate - no, this isn't a paid advertisment by VideoSift Fundraiser, I just hope VS will stay!)

There are lots of hidden gems in VS! Not all of them get actually sifted, but they are there! I need to remind myself of this every time my video goes to my pqueue. It is still here! You can beg, or hope others will find it and promote.. But whenever you search for whatever, you will see all submitted ones, not just the ones that were 'sifted'!

Getting one sifted just grants a little bonus, a star point. Get enough star points, and you get noticed more. But we ALL should pay more attention to the pqueue ones, including myself. Just that instead of checking out YouTube, you could see if the video you are searching for is in VS. IF so, and if it is not 'sifted' yet, just give it a upvote! Well, give it an upvote anyway! Cleaning up eric3579's dead videos list made me see what fun/cool stuff stuff we have here! Yes, that reminds me, also check the deadpool often!

Probies, also.. just keep trying to submit videos! It is great that you just want to be here and comment, but I am sure it won't be TOO hard to get a video sifted if you try. get rid of your 'P' and have 2 slots to submit!

Give me, or any other willing (Who's volunteering??) sifter a distress call, and we can promote your video. Unless it is total crap, or a self-link, or a monkey-frog sex video!
