I have my front page customized to show as Gallery view and I quite enjoy the way the thumbnails flow out according to window size.

I was wondering, could a technique like that be used to slide the right panels (t-shirts, polls, top videos, etc) off into a scrollbar sized bar?

I like them and I view a lot of videos and t-shirts via that panel, but I wish I could 'minimize' it when watching videos via the gallery so that they flow out into nearly fullscreen. I know I can just click the 'fullscreen' button on the video, but I also like to be able to read comments and pre-open/buffer other videos while one is playing.

Would any other sifters appreciate this functionality or am I a lone soul on this one? It's a good idea in my opinion, but everyone else counts too so if I'm the only one I can just bugger off and deal with it as-is.
