The other om me says This Pedophile who destroyed not only a person's life, he knowingly preyed upon a minor whom he knew couldn't fight back physically or mentally should reap what he has sown.
This was not some petty bullying. This was a 30 year old adult blackmailing a minor for sexual purposes, destroying the life she had and subsequently, every life she had as she tried to rebuild until the awful day when she finally cracked and killed herself.

Plus he kept an online "jailbait folder of all the teens he had accumulated photos from.

Speaking of slow, I'm way slow to reply -- sorry.

All I was doing was typing the text into a Google search (with the quotes) and hitting enter. Then in the search results list the pops up, at the top it says something like "about xxx results" -- that is where I got my numbers.

Just now I typed "I catch the waves down in Africa" into Google again, and it has gone from 48 hits when I did the search originally to 22,500 now. Mostly from Google crawling Videosift and people blogging/tweeting/whatever about that thread here on the sift, I think. Even "I swing a mace down in Africa" is up to 107 hits.

I hear what you're saying, that death porn shouldn't be what the sift is all about. One video that happens to include someone getting killed doesn't change the Sift into death porn. Just like there's at least one full-on uncensored XXX porn clip that the community has accepted because it was also a good parody, or had a hilarious story or something. I can't remember what the reasoning was.

Death porn is what I think the Sift should avoid. This is not that. Also, I almost never go to Sift Talk, so I wouldn't know what happens there.

I considered everything you said there and still found this video lacking of being Sift-worthy, which is why I downvoted. Everything you mentioned is worthy of discussion... in the Sift Talk section with a link to the video.

Like I said, IMO videos of graphic killings aren't what we should be promoting on the Sift since this is supposed to be a friendly contest to find the best videos on the net. There are plenty of other sites to look at for sensationalist videos.

That fantastically perfect little fold dictates to me that it is done with a machine, I doubt companies that produce millions of jars have people doing it by hand. I would bet this video depicts what goes on at a "mom and pop" style of shop.
