Totally seems like this had to be a professionally-made viral video. I mean all that gear and setup seems over-the-top for an ordinary group of dudes, unless maybe one of them is in the business of wiring buildings with hidden cameras.

My dark mind expected a twist ending, like them catching on hidden camera the guy murdering his wife not knowing he was being filmed. That would have been a surprise.

This is FAKE. How can you not see that the guy planned to give his wife this reaction in the hopes of becoming a viral video hit? He even smiles subtly to himself at a couple points.

Youtube channel with a single video that was uploaded 2 days ago..

either a viral video or a parody.

He just got lucky in business back when the internet was first starting, and now instead of building new things that make the world better, he's flushing his lucky money down the toilet on prostitutes and vanity videos.

LOL. Two viral video possibilities here... kid snatches baseball from babe, or babe gets bonked in face with baseball.

She's calling her daughter out for using "Mary" as an excuse. That's the last time that will happen. And she's letting the people the daughter is interacting with on FB know that she's only 14 and they are on notice as well.

I don't know the whole story behind this and I don't know if I agree with this style of parenting (the public shaming is awful) But I definitely prefer it over having parents that don't give a shit and I'm glad the mother is aware of her daughters internet activity.

At the end of the day, I feel the mother should have handled this privately. Left whatever angry post she wanted to on the FB wall and then killed the account.

Having a viral video (that will never go away) that makes your kid look like shit isn't in their best interest.

Good idea: Make an ad that safely communicates with only kids.

Dumb idea: Try to get industry Kudos and awards with a viral video to spread the word with adults what's going on.

I guess noone ever said Ad agencies were selfless.

My gut feeling is that the "witnesses" in this are actors too. This is a viral video with the tag for a movie (hitting theaters today, btw...) at the end. I would think that pulling a stunt like this with real unsuspecting citizens would result in actual heart attacks, physical injuries, assaults upon one or more of the actors, plus numerous calls to the police. I believe that every aspect of this is staged.

It's so funny how people can hate the Harlem Shake or any viral video that others find fun. Shows your age and obstinance.

Good program. Good PR. I'm glad they are doing this, and it will start to help to repair the Davis police's reputation after the recent pepper spraying of protesters.
That said. I have no problem with them issuing warnings or citations for people riding on the streets without lights or proper reflectors. Hopefully the viral video will have a broader positive effect than citations.
Another thing police could do with any sort of 'not up to code' violation, would be to issue a citation, but wave the fee if you can demonstrate that you have fixed the problem within 30 days.. for example, by mailing in a copy of the receipt for a bike light.

This is actually a viral video for the next Transformers movie.
