Vox: Why video games are made of tiny triangles
When I started in games, we could create assets with polygons that had more than 3 vertices, as long as it was coplanar. This probably still works because when the switch from software rendering to hardware was going on, even the early cards like the S3 or 3DFX would automatically handle it by converting it into triangles.
A GoPro Adventure
Damn, someone hire this man.
I think I saw the old woman who stole my triangle near the beginning, anybody have Robert Smith's phone number? I need his help retrieving it.
Probably should have tested that first
I think I have to call fake.
Look at the top of the ladder, there's a 2x4 triangle set up to flip the glass off the platform as it raises.
Ganja Sasquatch Invades Newscast
Here in the emerald triangle, we call him Budfoot.
How has "potsquatch" not been coined already?
How to Remain Calm With People
Related in the same way yes and no, top and bottom, right and wrong, stop and go, square and triangle, open and closed, etc. are related.
Pity and sympathy are closely related, but pity adds feelings of superiority.
Seismologist Dr. Lucy Jones' Tips To Survive An Earthquake
At 5:12 the one guy she mentions promoting the triangle of life theory was a classmate of mine in grade 11 & 12 in Halifax, NS. One of his crazy web pages is here https://dougcopp.me/ . Try reading it for some LOL's.
The Death Of National Geographic
Yes.
"Story of God" with Morgan Freeman is NGTV's big production this month.
Right now, it's border wars, followed by 4 episodes of rocky mountain law, then drain the Bermuda triangle (at least a little bit about nature), then area 51:the CIA's secret, then bigfoot:the new evidence. It's all low quality 'reality TV' and conspiracy theory these days. So sad.
I used to subscribe and read NG back in the 80s. What about NG channel on TV? Did they get bad too?
Don't Try And Start Shit With A Letterkenny Dude
How're ya now? That's pretty close, and a common error in dialect assignment, as the Classic Received Cape Breton is often confused with the Middle South Ontario (the St. Mary's / Listowel /Wingham Triangle Region to be precise) from which this originates. The telltale difference is the use of "Give 'er", uncommon in the MSO, popular in the CRCB.
(and yes, we do speak like this)
Sorry, it's a Windtalker sort of thing. You have to be born to it.
There's actually two dialects going in this clip, Common Hockey and Classic Received Cape Breton.
Should you use Hydrogen Peroxide to clean wounds?
Pain? What pain? It's always been completely painless for me. And you don't leave it on long, just enough to kill whatever might be hanging around the area, and then you bandage it. It's perfectly fucking fine.
I'm getting a little tired of these guys' videos and how inaccurate they can be. Especially, the ridiculous ones where they try to perform ideas they read about on the internet or wherever for making people's lives easier. One that quickly comes to mind is the one where they try "closing a cereal box in a pyramid shape." Idiot. You don't FOLD THE SIDES OF THE BOX, you fold over the sides of the BAG into a triangle before ROLLING it. This helps it stay closed tighter and better.
There have been others, but, like this one, they're just presenting their own (inaccurate) opinion. H202 is fine as long as you don't put tons on and leave it there for hours.

Oh yeah...sorry.

You've reminded me of something hilarious from the expo, but I can't find a picture of it. There was a 2D sculpture of a Canadian Mountie, I think near the roller coaster, that totally had a huge boner! It was really the end of the arm, but the way it was made the elbow is in back, but in front was just a little triangle just below waist level. It was too funny, and obviously not intentional. Oh, the things you notice when you're 16.

How to ... Easy Optical Illusions
Some were... okay, but some were... huh?
Create an invisible triangle? Really?
Flip the eyes and mouth over and it will look weird... ohhhh kay...?
When "wow" flips horizontally it still says "wow." Wow, quite a revelation.
This could only have been created for children. That's the only thing I can imagine.
The geometry of a movie scene
Oh come on now, what about the rectangles of the bookshelves, the triangle of the table with the men in a row on top, the man talking with 1/3 of the chalkboard at left and 2/3 at right.... you can find these geometric shapes in any scene.
Instantly See Which Side of Your Car the Gas Tank Is On
My current car is a 2013 Jetta but I realized from that photo you linked to that I am looking in the wrong place. In the video, I got the impression they were showing the low fuel warning light and I saw nothing when I looked at mine. The little icon on the gauge itself does have a triangle pointing to the right, however.
I searched for gauge cluster pics of my prior VWs (2003 Golf and 2000 Beetle) and they did not have the icon. My mom's Ford probably does have it and I never noticed. My dad's Toyota might be just a year or two too old.
The rest were definitely too old. It looks like this is something that's been added in the last 5 years for most of these makes.
My 2006 Mazda 6 has it, and so does every other recent car I've driven.
I don't remember my 1976 Corolla having an arrow though, and images from the 70s don't show it either.
This image from a 2006 Camry shows the arrow pointing to the side the fuel hose goes - http://goo.gl/fa9dxx so maybe it's only in the last 10 years? Is your car older than that?
Luckiest cyclist in Russia and quite possibly the world
The upside down triangle across the street is USUALLY a yield sign. The camera being pointed this was would also be set up to catch license plates blowing it.
