Designed by an accountant most likely because it achieves the efficiency goal of having fewer people to hire and pay to pickup trash. However, it seems that having a more complicated machine would require more people to fix or maintain it.

I remember when I was a kid, the garbage truck had a driver and 2-3 guys that ran ahead to pick up the trash cans and dump it in the truck as it drove slowly down the street. We now have a similar two-man system, but it's not like the one in the video. It has a crane thing in the back, one guy drives the truck and another gets out and pulls the trash cans to the back of the truck for the crane to pick up and dump in.

It seems slower as the truck is constantly stopping and going and it's just one guy dumping one can at a time. I suppose it's safer, and also requires fewer people to pay.

I saw this available and thought: "Hmm, they're providing the first 8 minutes? Maybe this isn't actually hot trash."

And then I watched it.

I live in east Tennessee, unfortunately, the amount of opportunistic assholes in this state is high, thankfully there are some decent people but you never hear about them, always the trash.

I just think it's bizarre behaviour of all involved. As it's happened since birth, she's normalized it, but being programmed to think being recorded is just another weekly chore -like I had to collect and take out the trash- is an alien concept to me.

Its almost sad to see this get thrown on bob's trash heap. Would have liked to have seen it go to the front page as a monument to stupidity and hypocrisy. Way to go bob, drain that swamp big guy.

I am actually doing just fine simply completely ignoring her hysteria. First time I listened to her is this video.
What is her impact in China? Russia? India? Brazil? Indonesia? On people who make decisions?
Perhaps in the USofA hysteria can have an impact on future elections (I am actually doing just fine simply completely ignoring the current administration) but will global ecology really be a big (or medium..) election theme in the USofA in the near future, like 20 years?

Im washing out those plastic bottles and sorting trash and keep my car serviced properly and fly rarely. But if this type of hysteria is randomly aimed against nuclear power, attempts to talk to women in the workplace, and eating meat regularly on other days, could we please not go that way... too late.

What can be done to move the 6 countries mentioned at least slightly in the direction of Europe on pollution? To stop China building coal power stations all over Africa? Brasil and Indonesia deforesting? What has (or can) Grrreta really do to help there? This is like trying to shame Saddam Hussein to give up those WOMD he hid so well. How dare you Saddam? Bad boy!

Also how dare three quarters of us not just lie down and die without children to save the planet? Or are we evil and not mature enough to forego making money to buy food for our families? Which in most places on the Earth means polluting like hell. Vicious cycle. Maybe people should be more modest, maybe rich white kids should not be the ones saying that.

In the early days, making idle threats didn't work. Food just don't care.

I would never put food in the fridge. I don't even own a fridge. I don't waste time food shopping, cooking, washing dishes, taking out the trash. I pay people to do all that for me. Never cared for cooking but I love people who do cook. I have servants nationwide.

Only trash bins that have been converted into shelters for the homeless have toilets. Clearly this is a neighborhood that doesn't allow the homeless.

And I'm (poorly) addressing the absurdity of claiming a word belongs to one group and may only be used by that group.

I think only those wishing to be thought of as ni#*ers should use the word, no matter their heritage.

I don't agree that the same goes for redneck, cracker, peckerwood, milk toast, white trash, or similar white descriptors/slurs....at least not in America.
