Police Slashing Tires At Protests

racist police????

Projecting you own thoughts on the men in blue.

What they did was wrong. Or were they drumming up local tire business for a community that has been terrorized and shut down by thugs?

Cop logic: If you are near a march against abusive racist police you hate all police and we hate you....and since we have masks on and immunity for our actions, we're going to fuck up your life in every way we can and blame protesters....
....because we're the good guys.

Police Slashing Tires At Protests

"State Patrol troopers strategically deflated tires to keep vehicles from being used in attacks, and so we could tow the vehicles later for collection of evidence if necessary,"

Kimberly Jones Explains Why People Protest, Riot & Loot

Digitalfiend says...

I understand and support the protesting as there are clearly systemic racism issues that have long needed to be addressed. I understand the rioting - people are fed up and tired of inaction. But I can't agree with her explanation and rationalization of the looting. I highly doubt all of the looters were impoverished and just wanted to sample the luxuries that they see other more well-off people enjoying. Instead, I suspect many of them saw an opportunity in the chaos of the protests and riots to take advantage of the situation. White, black, it doesn't matter - there are always people out there that are more than willing to steal when the opportunity presents itself. It's wrong, plain and simple, and, in my opinion, trying to rationalize and forgive that type of behaviour weakens her otherwise reasonable argument.

2020 Jeep Wrangler Rolls Over In Small Overlap Crash Tests

newtboy says...

When racing, 2/3. No neck brace in those days. Once while training, no helmet either, but yes, 5 point harness in a full tube racing buggy.
Honestly, the only one that made a real difference was the cage. A 4 or 3 point seatbelt would have been sufficient thanks to a deep racing seat, and most rolls were due to super soft silt grabbing the outside tires in a turn....that scrubed a lot of speed right away and made the final hit extra soft, a few were on hardpacked dirt, but they were short course so maybe 30-40 mph entry speed instead of 60+, around 20 by the time my side hit ground.

When you did that was it in a 5 point harness with a helmet, neck brace and rollcage?

Police fire (paintball?) at residents on their front porch

HugeJerk says...

Police... trying to recover from yet another nightmare situation of their own creation, see fit to run people over, pepper spray the peaceful marchers, slash tires and windows, pull people from their cars as they're driving home, shoot at journalists and others not involved in any violence or destruction while laughing about it.

I'm sure that'll restore the trust of the public in law enforcement.

This Week

newtboy says...

Don't forget the miraculous perfection of Benghazzi where we only lost 4 Americans and some buildings.

If >100000 dead Americans and a looming Depression is "winning", I must admit I'm tired of winning so much.

By that measure, George Bush's actions on 9/11 were a "God Damn success" because the Empire State Building is still there.
