And not to confuse lines made by vigilantes from other current movie trailers but Doomsday looks like "an avocado had sex with an older avocado." AKA a ballsack.

I grew all full of hope when you said this, and then I watched that second trailer. Blllaaarrrrgggg.....

Oh well, I hate DC anyway; especially Superman. I just thought that last Snyder one was the pinnacle for superhero-action, so it got my hopes up.

Obvious parallels with the Avengers here, which is odd because the first half of the trailer looked like a gritty, tense standoff between two legends of comic books only to be followed by an action-has-no-consequences, special effects driven, quip marathon with extra characters shoe-horned in (presumably for sex appeal, or am i being too pessimistic?)

There was little chance in the superhero genre (that's enjoying such popularity right now) to build up a strong female superhero that has her own story and relevance. To me, Johanssen's character is nowhere near as deep or involved as the other Avengers are, to the point i can't even remember the character's name but i definitely can remember what she wears. Given that opportunity with Wonder Woman, why is she being introduced as an aside to Batman and Superman? That undermines her right from the start in my view - the male characters all seem to have had their own individual films as introduction.

What i mean is, just as it is for boys, you'd want a young girl to imagine themselves as Wonder Woman and be the centre of focus, in command, important and everyone wants your input or help. In this case, it seems the best you can do is help out her male colleagues with their critically important work, where they both go "oh i thought she was with you."

WTF, why did he decide to superman almost as soon as he hit the jump? It looked like he was intentionally trying to bail.

I nearly posted this and the Suicide Squad right after they leaked hours after the panels, figured I'd replace the embed with the real trailer once it released... but decided to wait for official releases... and they still haven't released the Deadpool one, and WB released the Suicide Squad one reluctantly figuring it was the best way to fight the crappy phone cam versions out there and having to waste time with C&D letters. I don't get it, like WB released the Superman V Batman trailer soon after the Superman panel, so why didn't they follow suit with the Suicide Squad one? Same here, why not release the official version right after the panel? Disney didn't waste too much time with the Star Wars stuff.

Of course perhaps that's part of the marketing of Deadpool. The movie likely got greenlit because of the original Deadpool Test Footage which was "leaked". Who knows, perhaps the leak was Fox or the production company testing to see interest, and now with the trailer continue to leave it in phone cam form for viral efforts as people search Deadpool movie hoping to find a better trailer.

The whole "Batman vs. Superman" thing is pretty silly to begin with for several reasons. Superman being overpowered in general and Batman only being able to possibly deal with him using kryptonite being a major one, and the idea of the two of them being at odds enough to actually fight each other being another.

I never have really liked Superman as a hero due to all of the tacked on powers and the fairly ridiculous backstory (though it's better now since they've retconned in a bunch of more sensible details over the many years).

Then this trailer seems to pretty much boil down the conflict between them to being "he's reckless and endangering lives and can't be trusted with his amazing powers" vs. "he's a vigilante who's going too far outside the law". Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (egging things on, and just in general) isn't working for me from what I see in this trailer either. Seems pretty silly. I guess mainly I was hoping for a better reason for them to end up fighting; the first teaser left that up in the air, and this one didn't personally give me compelling enough reasons.

Nice little teaser of Wonder Woman being in the movie as well, though, rather than just Batman and Superman.
