Call the Cops - Rob Hustle ft. Liv
I have wrestled with a few people (mostly females), tackled a few people who were running from the police, pointed my weapon at a few people, and drive-stunned (taser) one guy who was resisting arrest. That's it for 30 years.
My dept. usually had around 35 officers and I've known two of them since 1975 or so who have shot at anyone. One officer shot a guy who was trying to run him over in a car, that guy was killed. The officer left the dept and found other work.
Another officer-involved shooting was an officer who shot a guy who had committed a homicide and was running away.
One shooting involved a cop who was shot at and returned fire, hitting one guy with a grazing shot.
So that's a hell of a lot of interactions with people (average about 2000 people per year arrested) with very little deadly force involved.
If you want to counsel police officers involved in using force...that's fine with me.
Slow motion video of people being tased.
In the vast majority of cases, stun guns are used to immobilize people who pose a physical threat to themselves or others. It's pretty rare that someone who is civil and compliant gets tased. If that happens, the cops responsible should be punished appropriately. However, the misuse of stun guns doesn't make the devices inherently bad. They are a very effective way of neutralizing a threat in a non-lethal manner.

Russell Brand " Is Fox News More Dangerous Than Isis? "
EDIT: I think you meant to say 'how can you NOT disagree that an organization that commits actual massacres...actual fucking massacres is better than Faux News?', meaning 'How can you agree Isis is better than Faux?'...right? You forgot to double the negative.
I think that can be reasonably asked because Faux news (and others) has essentially become the propaganda wing of another organization that commits MORE actual massacres (but usually from a distance...I'm talking about the US military industrial complex here). That makes them directly complicit in and a facilitator and even instigator of the killing of hundreds of thousands of 'innocent' (non-threatening) people, to me that's likely worse than directly killing hundreds, even if you only ascribe 5% culpability/responsibility to them, perhaps it's not to you.
It's a bit like if you're in a disagreement with your neighbor and your cousin comes over with a baseball bat, knives, and a stun gun, gives them to you and then constantly, angrily, threateningly, cajoles you into violent action against your neighbor. The cousin will be (properly) prosecuted right there with you when you murder your neighbor and his family...so should Faux news be.
HOW Can you disagree that an organization that commits actual massacres...ACTUAL FUCKING MASSACRES is better than Fox News.
Are you using some metric that isn't on this planet? Is there something that Fox does to make people think those things that is the equivalent of Killing Hundreds of people?
We will never agree until you can accept that Murder is worse than Thought Crime.

Anti-Gun PSA Makes the Case for Women With Guns
Ding! I can't believe how many people come back to this argument strategy nowadays. In the last few years, it has just stunned me that issues like gay marriage bans were put up to POPULAR VOTE. Hurts my brain. It hurts worse when those votes pass, too, but that's why things like civil rights aren't supposed to be put in that position.
But of course let's not forget guns aren't people. Lots of dangerous stuff gets banned, mostly because we don't have a constitutional amendment (and lots of $$$) to defend them.
My main hope for the future is that both sides cope with the fallacies of their OWN arguments and work towards reasonable compromise. The laws should be narrowly focused to combat criminal behavior, while allowing responsible law-abiding citizens reasonable freedoms for hobbies and self-defense! Oh it sounds so simple.
You've just countered your own point. The "majority" of Americans (and indeed humans in general) are and have frequently wrong on just about every issue in history.
New Trailer Debuts for Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar'
Looks visually stunning.
And so far, everything about the story makes me completely and utterly bored.
I really want to be wrong on this, but right now I am thinking "Gravity part 2".
Denny - Concept Uban Utility Bike
I tried to find the price and found this.
"The price is actually undetermined—Fuji, our manufacturing partner will make that call once the final bike is chosen. The cost of the prototype is unfortunately no help for an estimation given every part is custom made—at this point it’s a stunning piece of art. Mass production will knock into the reality of MSRP."
Soo 4 grand.
Some interesting concepts there. Wonder how much it would cost?
