Never liked the Sims all that much, but I'm all over Spore. And I don't see how he figures it's hard to be an herbivore. I've brought carnivores and herbivores into space from the cell stage, and honestly I thought the herbivores had it a lot easier.

Omnivores are probably the easiest, though you do have to watch how your actions affect your evolution and make sure you aren't drifting too much towards the herbivore or carnivore side of things.

Oh and I think more than half of the video time here was spent on ads...

For sure! It will be in my blog. right now I'm working on porting my horrible Dr. Horrible sculpture. Once thats done I'll get back to practicing sculpture and try not to get caught up with another 'big' learning project.

Maya is such a struggle, I tried learning it once. I have some friends who are pretty good at it, they even made a music video a couple of years ago. Let me know if you make something worth sharing

Not just spore! Playing spore and trying to learn Maya simultaniously! It's great fun. I can't wait until I actually know this stuff so it's not a constant struggle just to work out how to get a shader to do what I want. Also, to be able to get back to actually creating new things D:

Maya is such a struggle, I tried learning it once. I have some friends who are pretty good at it, they even made a music video a couple of years ago. Let me know if you make something worth sharing

I was hoping he'd review Spore, maybe next week.
I thought Spore was quite disappointing, but the space-phase is quite fun, though I don't see much replay value.

I took three minutes and looked at the website - these morons are missing one FUNDAMENTAL element - Spore does not say anything about the big bang - it starts from transpermia.

For for all anyone else knows, and organic living matter on the asteroid could have been created.

They need to STFU. No one likes fundies, especially other Christians.
